While breaking the news, Phonearena disclosed that the rumored handset should be ZenFone 4. However, we expect the new phone to be a higher variant to the ZenFone 4 series since the company has already released ZenFone 4 in 2014. Due to the large battery, you can expect the new handset to be named as ZenFine 4 Max. That being said, the ZenFone 3 didn’t impress customers in 2016 because of high pricing.
In December 2016, a dual-camera Asus smartphone slipped through the TENAA certification. Asus is participating in the CES 2017. We can expect that the new smartphone will be showcased during the event. The launch seems imminent since the specifications are leaked on the TENAA.
