As part of New Year celebration and also to combat heavy competition from Reliance Jio, the state-owned BSNL has introduced several new exciting offers. As per the new offer, you can call to any mobile network without any additional cost in an unlimited mode.
To avail free call to any mobile network, you need to recharge your mobile for Rs. 144. This offer is also applicable for local and STD calls. Moreover, you will get 300MB of data with every recharge.
Commenting on the development, BSNL chairman Anupam Shrivastava disclosed that the new plan will be applicable for 6 months. He also added that the new offer is applicable for both prepaid and postpaid customers.
Previously, there were rumors that BSNL will introduce new plans in January to combat competition from Reliance Jio. However, only time will tell as to how these new plans will prove to be a competitor for other mobile service providers.
