LG launched Gram 14 laptop with an ability to deliver 24 hours of battery life in Snow White and Metal Pink color variants at CES 2017. According to LG sources, the Gram 14 laptop has already caught the attention for all the wrong reasons.
The main reason for the huge buzz is attributed to the fact that the laptop is capable of delivering 24 hours backup time, which is a significant improvement when compared to previous counterparts and other competing laptops.
With a weight of 980 grams, the LG Gram 14 laptop ships with a touch display. As per reports, you will be able to buy both standard and touch display variants. On the specifications front, the LG Gram 14 laptop features a 14-inch FHD IPS display, Intel 7th Generation processor, 16GB RAM alongside 512GB of internal storage.
In addition to two USB 3.0 ports, the LG Gram 14 laptop is equipped with a USB Type-C port, microSD card slot, HDMI port, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth. The laptop also offers a fingerprint scanner with support for Windows Hello.
Previously, there were reports that the LG Gram 14 has the capability to deliver 17 hours of backup time. In a statement related to the press, LG revealed that the company was able to improve the battery life by adding weight loss in its material design. Moreover, the laptop is designed using carbon magnesium alloy and an enhanced display technology with 60Whr battery.
Regarding pricing, the newly launched Gram 14 laptop will cost KRW 1,420,000 (approximately Rs. 80,900) in South Korea. However, the company hasn’t revealed the pricing and availability in other emerging markets. We expect the company to launch LG Gram 14 laptop before the end of Q3 2017.
