If rumors are to be believed, Motorola will roll out Android Nougat update to Moto G4 handset in January 2016 for users in Europen countries. Although we don’t have an exact time frame for the launch of the update, we expect the new update to hit Moto G4 around January 20.
An official tweet posted by@Moto_GER handle indicates the roll out of Android 7 for only Moto G4. As of this writing, we don’t have any clear indication for the launch of the update for Moto G4 Plus.
However, we navigated to the official Twitter handle account of Motorola Germany but unable to view the above tweet.
In December 2015, Motorola had launched Android Nougat update for the Moto G4 and G4 Plus smartphones. However, the update was limited to Asia. The latest development is that the company will roll out an update for the Moto G4 smartphone for users in European countries before the end of January.
With the imminent launch of the update for Moto G4, we also expect the launch of the update for Moto G4 Plus before the end of Q1 2016. Sometimes, Motorola will roll out the update for the Plus variant in January itself. Who knows? Let’s wait and see.
