If rumors are to be believed, Oppo Find 9 with Snapdragon 835 processor will be launched in Q1 2017. In November 2016, there was a rumor on the web about the reported move by Oppo to launch Find 9 smartphone in March 2017. However, sources quoting a popular Chinese analyst and an employee of Qualcomm’s Chinese office confirmed that the possibility is very slim.
The latest development that Oppo Find 9 will indeed find limelight in March 2017 is a sign of significant development. Moreover, it confirms the previous rumor reported way back in November.
Surprisingly, an image reportedly that of Oppo Find 9 in Black color variant surfaced on Weibo. Based on the image, we can confirm that the smartphone indeed ships with USB Type-C port. A white piece of paper is affixed on the corner. We infer that this should be an entry point for the screen guard.
Talking about the specifications, the rumored Oppo Find 9 will most likely integrate the recently announced Snapdragon 835 processor alongside a QHD display. You can expect 6GB RAM coupled with 128GB internal storage.
However, few unconfirmed sources reveal that the handset will ship with 8GB RAM. The upcoming Oppo Find 9 will be loaded with Android Nougat on top of the new AI system codenamed Find OS.
We don’t have any confirmation about the other specifications such as a camera. But we can say that Oppo is well known for manufacturing selfie focussed phones. Hence, we can assume that Oppo Find 9 will ship with a large front-facing snapper with 21MP sensor.
We will continue to dig into the developments and provide updated. Stay tuned with NetAns.
