Honor 6X to hit Indian shores via Amazon India on January 24

Amazon India has established as a partnership with Huawei to sell the Honor 6X from January 24. Touted as the Republic Day gift, the Honor 6X features dual-camera sensors on the rear side.

With a 5.5-inch FHD display, the Honor 6X features a HiSilicon Kirin 655 processor, up to 4GB RAM and 64GB expandable storage loaded with Android 6.0 Marshmallow. While the 3GB RAM variant is equipped with a 32GB storage capacity, the 4GB RAM model bears 64GB internal storage.

The main attraction of Honor 6X is the addition of a dual-camera with 12MP sensor alongside 2GB sensor. On the front, you have an 8MP sensor, which helps you to capture great selfies. The phone gets power from the 3340mAh battery. Honor 6X is completely compatible with Reliance Jio since the handset provides support for 4G VoLTE.

As of this writing, we don’t have any information about the price of the handset. However, we expect Huawei to fix the price in such a way to fit average budget users. Moreover, the pricing will be competitive due to the big digital push by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. According to reports, the price of Honor 6X will be fixed under Rs. 15000.

The launch of Honor 6X in a short time after the official launch at the CES 2017 assumes great significance. We never thought the handset would make an entry into Indian shores so quickly after the global launch.

The launch of Honor 6X in India should be a lesson for other smartphone manufacturers who release phones after a gap of several months after the official release in China and other parts of the world.
