Samsung has launched Galaxy J3 Emerge in the US via Sprint, Boost Mobile and Virgin Mobile for $234.99. The launch of the phone is not a big surprise because there were rumors about the release of the Galaxy S3 Emerge in the United States. Samsung has listed the Galaxy J3 Emerge on its official website.
Based on the information, you will be able to buy the handset from Sprint, Boost Mobile and Virgin Mobile with the same specification. You will have an option to buy the phone from any of the three mobile providers for $234.99. Interestingly, the cost of the handset remains the same for all mobile carriers.
Noticeably, Best Buy is also offering the Galaxy J3 Emerge. However, you can buy the Sprint model for free for $7 per month for 24 months. Although Sprint confirmed the availability of stocks on January 23, Samsung hasn’t mentioned an estimated release date.
While you can place orders for the Sprint model from the official online store of Samsung, the other two carrier-centric models are available for purchase through Best Buy.
Touted as an entry-level smartphone, the Samsung Galaxy J3 Emerge features a 5-inch HD display, Snapdragon 430 processor, 1.5GB RAM, 16GB expandable internal storage, 5MP rear camera coupled with 2MP front-facing snapper. Powered by a 2600mAh battery, the Galaxy J3 Emerge will be equipped with Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
