Motorola is expected to unveil Moto G5 Plus and Moto G5 smartphones at the upcoming MWC 2017. Putting an end to all rumors and speculations, the Lenovo-backed Motorola has announced that the launch event will take place on February 26. The phone will be available for sale from the same day of the launch.
The company has released a teaser, which states “hellomoto” with the handset standing tall with possible reflection on the backside. Moreover, you can see the date and time of the product launch below alongside the yellowish Lenovo logo on the bottom right-hand side. Interestingly, hello is printed in yellow color, while moto is depicted in White color variant.
Even though we don’t have exact specifications of the upcoming handsets, Moto G5 plus will feature a 5.5-inc FHD display coupled with a Snapdragon 625 processor. Moreover, the smartphone will have 4GB RAM with both 16GB and 32GB internal storage variants.
While the rear camera will be equipped with a 16MP sensor, the front-facing shooter will bear a 5MP sensor. Expected to be loaded with Android Nougat, the Moto G5 Plus will run from the integrated 3080mAh battery.
If rumors are to be believed, the Moto G5 will not ship with a fingerprint scanner with 16GB internal storage paired with 13MP rear camera sensor. Based on information from the leaks, the Plus variant will cost Rs. 26500.
