Samsung Galaxy Note 4 gets better with January security update

Samsung has rolled out the January security update for the flagship Galaxy Note 4 smartphone. According to reports, the update is currently available for users based in Germany. The update provides Android security fixes for the month of January.

Based on the insider information, the January security update for Samsung Galaxy Note 4 will be available for Netherlands, Poland, and the UK within the next few days.

Like in the past updates, you will have to wait for some time to receive the new bits via OTA. It depends on your region and location. However, if you are not willing to wait, you can manually verify the existence of the update by navigating to the Settings menu.

On the specifications front, the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 features a 5.7-inch Super AMOLED Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protected display, Snapdragon 805/Exynos 5433 processor, 3GB RAM coupled with 32GB internal storage. The display panel has a density of 518 PPI.

The rear camera features 16MP sensor alongside f/2.2 aperture, OIS, autofocus, LED flash. However, the front-facing snapper offers a 3.7MP sensor with f/1.9 aperture. The phone offers a 3220mAh battery with support for fast charging technology. You can charge the phone up to 60 percent in 30 minutes.
