Vivo will officially unveil the next generation Vivo V5 Plus with a dual front camera on January 23. Expected to be priced at Rs. 27500, the Vivo V5 Plus features dual front-facing snapper. Hence, you can expect accurate, crisp and vibrant selfies.
On the specifications front, the Vivo V5 Plus will feature a 5.5-inch FHD IPS Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protected display, Snapdragon 625 processor, 4GB RAM paired with 64GB expandable internal storage. The advantage of the upcoming Vivo V5 Plus is that you can expand the storage up to 256GB.
The rear camera will offer a 16MP sensor coupled with f/2.0 aperture, phase detection autofocus and LED flash. However, the front camera will be equipped with dual camera sensor comprising of 20MP and 8MP sensors with an aperture of f/2.0. The phone will be equipped with 3160mAh fast charging battery.
In addition to the fingerprint sensor mounted on the physical home button, the Vivo V5 Plus will provide support for accelerometer, gyro, compass, proximity, A-GPS, GLONASS, and BDS. Although the phone is not launched yet, a Malaysia based undisclosed website has revealed the pricing as RM 1799, which equates to Rs 27500. Hence, we expect the phone to cost between Rs 26000 and Rs 30000.
The launch of the upcoming Vivo V5 Plus assumes great significance in the wake of the recent launch of Xiaomi Redmi Note 4. Moreover, Honor is planning to launch the premium Honor 6X Swag smartphone on January 24 with a dual-camera on the rear side. According to reports, the Honor 6X is expected to be available below Rs 15000.
