HTC has halted the Android Nougat rollout for the flagship HTC 10 handset in mainland Europe. According to Graham Wheeler, HTC’s Product and Services Director for the EMEA region, the rollout of Android Nougat for HTC 10 for users in Europe has been halted. In his tweet, he mentioned that there is a technical problem and the product team is currently working on to resolve the issues.
Previously, HTC had suspended the Android Nougat update for HTC 10 due to the eruption of bugs. However, the company quickly resolved the issues and started to seed the update in Europe.
Wheeler added that he will again tweet when the update rollout resumes. However, you will have to wait until next month since he had indicated the estimated time frame as February. However, there is no indication of an exact date or week.
The latest reports signals the fact that the update is only available in the UK. The company had to pause the rollout in mainland Europe due to undisclosed technical reasons.
In addition to the UK, the update also hits the shores of Russia, the Middle East, and Turkey. There is no clear indication as to when the update will be rolled out to users in India.
