Nokia 6 available for sale in the Philippines from January 26

Nokia 6

Within days after a massive response to the flash sale in China, Nokia 6 will be available for sale in the Philippines starting January 26. In China, the first batch of Nokia 6 Android smartphone sold like hot cakes within one minute. As of this writing, nearly 1.4 million people are waiting in the pipeline for fresh stocks.

A Philippino-based online retailer Lazada has confirmed that Nokia 6 will be available for sale from January 26 at PHP 18590, which is approximately $370. However, the phone will be available only in White color. Interestingly, Nokia hasn’t released a White color variant of Nokia 6. It needs to be seen as to whether the claim by the retailer is true.

On the specifications front, the Nokia 6 is equipped with a 5.5-inch FHD display, 4GB RAM, 64GB internal storage, 16MP rear camera, 8MP front-facing snapper, 3000mAh battery loaded with Android 7.0 Nougat.

If you compare the cost, the Nokia 6 is priced higher than the official pricing. However, the increase in cost is attributed to the alleged import of the handset. To recall, HMD Global had acquired the rights to sell Nokia handsets for the next 10 years. The company is planning to unveil several Nokia 6 handsets during the upcoming MWC 2017.
