Within days before the official launch of Samsung Galaxy S8, the first look images of the phone have been leaked via the popular tipster Evan Blass. In addition to the images, the specifications and release date have also been leaked. If the rumors are to be believed, you can expect the launch of the Galaxy S8 on March 29 at an Unpacked event in New York.
In his tweet, Blass shared an image (watermarked with VB) of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S8, which provides a clear full view of the rear and the front side. The leaked image is almost on the same page with the previously leaked images with a large display without any sign of bezels on both sides.
You will not find the presence of physical home button on the Galaxy S8. Moreover, the fingerprint scanner is located at the rear alongside the camera. You will also find the traditional Samsung logo on the rear paired with a minimal all-display design.
On the optics, you will find a 12MP sensor, which is housed in the top-center portion along with 8MP front-facing shooter. Unlike Apple iPhone 7, you will find the presence of the traditional 3.5mm headphone audio port. In addition to a USB Type-C port, you will also find a speaker grille at the bottom edge.
Coming to the specifications, the Samsung Galaxy S8 is expected to flaunt a 5.7-inch and 6.2-inc display. The internals comprises of a Snapdragon 835 processor coupled with 4GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage. Samsung is also considering embedding a 10nm in-house processor based on markets. For instance, in India, you can expect the company to infuse Exynos processor.
Based on information available so far, the Samsung Galaxy S8 is expected to be 11 times faster with 23 percent enhanced graphics. Moreover, the Galaxy S8 will provide 20 percent improved battery performance than the previous counterpart. Although the battery capacity will be around 3400mAh, the Galaxy S8 will ship with new apps to optimize the battery life.
Blass is pretty silent on the button placements. We can spot a hardware button on the right edge, which will be most likely the Bixby personal assistant button. Previously, there were rumors that the upcoming Galaxy S8 will integrate an additional button. Dubbed as DeX, the Samsung Galaxy S8 will enable you to transform the phone into a mini Android computer.
