After Xiaomi, Vivo, and Honor, it’s the turn of ZTE to launch ZTE Blade A610 Plus smartphone with 5000mAh battery on February 3. The company has already mailed media invites for the launch event to be held in New Delhi.
Over the last few months, there has been a series of leaks and rumors about the upcoming handset. The highlight of the phone is the integration of a massive 5000mAh battery, which will be capable of delivering a backup of over one week.
According to reports, the ZTE Blade A610 Plus will most likely feature a 5000mAh battery. The partial teaser on the media invite clearly confirms the fact that the smartphone could be Blade A610 Plus.
The teaser reveals metal body design alongside a LED Flash placed below the camera sensor. Furthermore, the rumored phone will feature a square shaped fingerprint sensor.
Regarding the specifications, the ZTE Blade A610 Plus will feature a 5.5-inch FHD 2.5D curved glass display, MediaTek MT6750T processor, 2GB RAM, 16GB expandable internal storage loaded with Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
While the rear camera is equipped with a 13MP sensor with FHD video recording capabilities, the front-facing shooter bears an 8MP sensor. In addition to 4G VoLTE, the Blade A610 Plus will also provide support for all major connectivity and sensors. Regarding pricing, the ZTE Blade A610 Plus is expected to be priced less than Rs. 15000.
It remains to be seen as to how users approach the new handset because the cost of Rs. 15000 for a 2GB RAM handset will not sell well in markets such as India. We have several 3GB RAM phones priced below Rs. 12000. Hence, the company should deeply study the market before fixing the price.
