Moto G5 with 3000mAh battery has cleared FCC. Recently, we had reported about the rumored Moto G5 Plus. The passing of Moto G5 through FCC indicates the fact that the handset will be available on retail shelves soon.
With the Moto G5 passing through the US telecom regulator, the Moto G5 is expected to provide support for NFC. If the rumors are to be believed, the Moto G5 is the first smartphone to ship with NFC capability.
The FCC listing also reveals the battery capacity pegged at 3000mAh. However, the Moto G 5 Plus will feature a 3100mAh battery. There is not much difference between two variants when it terms to the battery.
The handset will also ship with a fast charger, which will be capable of providing 14.4W output power at 9V/1.6A, 12V/1.2A, and 5V/1.6A. Interestingly, the bundled USB cable will be most likely 1 meter long. Interesting Isn’t it?
Coming to general specifications, the Moto G5 will feature a 5.5-inch FHD display, 16GB internal storage, 13Mp rear camera alongside 5MP front-facing shooter. As mentioned above, the battery capacity will be 3000mAh battery unless Motorola decides to decrease the capacity.
If you are wondering when Moto G5 will be released, you need not have to wait a long time. You can expect the launch on February 26 during MWC 2017.
