Within days after the official launch of Redmi Note 4 in India, Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 loaded with Android Nougat has been spotted on GFXBench. Interestingly, the version number of the software build is dubbed to be 7.1.1 and not 7.0 or 7.1. Hence, you will have access to the latest Android platform with all the security updates.
If a smartphone appears on the GFXBench site, then you can assume the imminent arrival of the handset. Going by the past records, we can infer that Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 Pro with Android 7.1.1 Nougat will hit retail shelves within the next few months.
As per the GFXBench results, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 Pro will be loaded with Android 7.1.1 also called as Android Xiaomi Edition. The phone will feature a 5.7-inch display, 3GB RAM, 32GB storage. Moreover, the phone will feature a 15MP rear camera sensor alongside 5MP front-facing shooter.
Initially, the handset will be available in China followed by other markets. That said, the global variant of Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 Pro just got better with Android Marshmallow.
As of this writing, we don’t have any information regarding when the handset with Android 7.1.1 will be available on the market. We expect that XXiaomi is currently testing the various elements of the new update and will release the update within the next few days.
