Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 powered by Snapdragon 820 processor will launch on February 26 at the upcoming MWC 2017. Previously, it was widely reported that Samsung would completely skip the event to launch the upcoming Galaxy S8 in a separate launch event in April 2017.
Samsung has released a teaser image that displays “Samsung Press Conference” on the top followed by Feb 26, 2017. A layout of the rumored Galaxy Tab S3 is also visible with event time punched as 7 PM (CET) Barcelona.
If you are in India, you will have to burn the midnight oil because the time in India will be 11.30 PM. The launch teaser also contains the URL, which is http://www.samsung.com/galaxy. You can watch the entire press conference from anywhere in the world.
If you inspect the teaser released by Samsung, you can clearly view the presence of a physical home button below the display. The image looks identical to that of the Galaxy Tab S2 released in 2015.
Interestingly, the specifications of the rumored Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 has also been leaked within hours of the release of the teaser. On the specifications front, the Galaxy Tab S3 features a 9.7-inc display with a resolution of 2048×1536 pixels.
Talking about the internals, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 will be equipped with a Snapdragon 820 processor, 4GB RAM, up to 64GB internal storage loaded with Android Nougat. The highlight of the tablet is that the device will have a thickness of 5.6mm. The rear camera offers a 12MP sensor with support for both Wi-Fi and 4G LTE.
Regarding pricing, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 will be available at a price of $600 in South Korea, to begin with from March 2017. We don’t have any information about the availability of the tablet in India.
