Xiaomi Mi 5c has surfaced on the rumor mills for past several months. According to rumors, the Xiaomi Mi 5c will be equipped with Snapdragon 625 processor. Moreover, a fresh leak regarding Mi 6 reveals the fact that the handset features an underclocked variant of Snapdragon 835 processor.
According to a report published on GizChina, the Xiaomi Mi 5c will be equipped with a 5.5-inch FHD 2.5D curved glass protected display with narrow bezels, Snapdragon 625 processor manufactured using the 14nm process. Talking about the internals, the Xiaomi Mi 5c will offer 3GB RAM coupled with 64GB internal storage.
While the rear camera will most likely offer a 12MP sensor, the front-facing snapper will bear an 8MP sensor. Powered by a 3200mAh battery, the Mi 5c will be loaded with MIUI 8. However, you need not have to expect Android Nougat but will be eligible for an upgrade in the upcoming future.
Based on the 3c certification listing, the Xiaomi Mi 5c will not provide support for fast charging because it makes use of a 5V/2A power adapter. Previously, the live image of the handset has been leaked that reveals the handset from all possible angles.
When it comes to Mi 6, the handset will ship with Snapdragon 835 processor. However, the latest leak reveals the fact that the phone will offer a trimmed clocked variant of the Snapdragon 835 processor pegged at 1.6GHz. The main reason for lowering the clock speed is attributed to providing improved performance including management of heat. If you go by the past leaks, the Xiaomi Mi 6 will also ship with a dual edged curved body coupled with 6GB RAM.
Regarding availability, we expect Xiaomi to unveil Mi 5c and Mi 6 before the end of Q2 2017.
