Google has rolled out the Android security patch for the month of February for the Huawei-manufactured Nexus 6P. With build number N4F26O, the latest update is currently available via OTA. Moreover, the update measures 39MB.
According to reports, the February Android security patch will also provide improvements and bug fixes based on the reports from users after testing the Android 7.1.1 update. The update provides bug fixes for the in-car Bluetooth connectivity problem alongside other critical issues reported by users.
It has been reported that users faced several problems with Bluetooth and voice calling after updating the handsets to Android 7.1.1. Since Google has fixed the bugs, we expect them to accompany the latest round of update. Recently, the Nexus 6P has been refreshed with Android 7.1.1 Nougat beta update.
Even though you can download the update with mobile data, we would suggest you make use of Wi-Fi. Furthermore, you should charge the phone more than 50 percent before proceeding with the download and upgrade process.
