Samsung has rolled out February security update for the Galaxy J5 Prime smartphone. Tagged with version G570MUBU1AQA3, the February security update provides bug fixes. We don’t have any credible information about whether any improvements are included with the update.

To recall, Samsung has started to push February security update for Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime. Like all other previous updates, the latest release will take few days to hit your handset.

Talking about the specifications, the Samsung Galaxy J5 Prime features a 5-inch HD PLS TFT display, Exynos 7570 processor, Mali-T720 graphics, 2GB RAM, 16GB expandable internal storage loaded with Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow.

While the rear camera offers 13MP sensor paired with f/1.9 aperture, the front-facing shooter offers a 5MP sensor with f/2.2 aperture. The phone gets adequate power from the integrated 2400mAh battery.

If you are unable to view the update notification, you need to wait for some more day. Alternatively, you can manually verify the existence of the update by tapping the Settings option. We expect the February security update to hit Indian shores by next week.
