T-Mobile has been rolling out a series of security updates for various smartphones. The latest development is that the February security update has been rolled out to Samsung Galaxy S4 and Galaxy Tab 3 smartphones.
With firmware versions M919UVSFQA1 and T217TUVSBQA1, the update provides security fixes for the month of February. However, we don’t have any confirmation as to whether the update includes any bug fixes.
Interestingly, the Samsung Galaxy S4 and Galaxy Tab 3 re currently running Android 4.4.4 and not yet updated at least to Android 5.0. The official website of Magenta mobile carrier had revealed the presence of the update but doesn’t provide any further details. It looks like the latest round of update is the first to hit the two handsets since its launch in 2015.
Like all other previous rollouts, the update will be available via OTA and will take few days to hit your smartphone. Alternatively, you can also manually verify the presence of the update by navigating directly to the Settings menu.
