Honor 8 Android Nougat update to hit United States shores on February 11

Honor has rolled out Android Nougat update for Honor 8 smartphone in the United States. Previously, the company had announced that the update will hit the US on February 10. According to Huawei, the Android Nougat update for the Honor 8 smartphone will be rolling out on February 11.

Honor US took to Twitter and shared the information that EMUI 5.0 is coming to Honor 8 from Feb 11. The tweet also signals users to check out the new App Drawer on EMUI 5. The message ends with the wording Excited alongside the link.

Like in the case of all the OTA updates, it will take few days for the new update to hit the Honor 8 handset in the US. Hence, you have to keep on checking for the emergence of any notifications. Alternatively, you can also manually verify got the presence of the update anything by tapping on the Settings menu.

Since the OTA update will be rolled out in a phased manner, we expect that the Honor 8 smartphones in the US will receive the update by the end of February. Hence, you will be required to wait until the end of February for the update depending upon the region.
