Samsung has rolled out the February security patch for Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge smartphones. According to reports, the flagship Galaxy S7 and S7 edge handsets have started to get the February security update.
While the Galaxy S7 update has been tagged as version G930FXXU1DQB7, the Galaxy S7 Edge variant bears the version G935FXXU1DQB7. We don’t have any information as to whether the update includes any other bug fixes, features, and improvements.
On the specifications front, the Samsung Galaxy S7 features a 5.1-inch Super AMOLED display, Exynos 8890 processor, Mali-T880 MP12 graphics, 4GB RAM, 32/64GB internal storage, 12MP rear camera, and 5MP front-facing shooter. The phone is loaded with 3000mAh fast charging battery. You will be able to charge 60 percent in 30 minutes.
When it comes to the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge, the handset offers a 5.5-inch Super AMOLED display, Snapdragon 820 processor, Adreno 530 graphics processor, 4GB RAM, 32/64/128GB internal storage, 12MP rear camera, and 5MP front-facing shooter. The handset is equipped with a 3600mAh fast charging battery. The advantage of the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge is that you will be able to charge the phone 60 percent within 30 minutes.
Like in the case of all updates, it will take some time for the new update to hit your smartphones. You will view a message notification on your display as soon as the update is available. Alternatively, you can also verify the presence of the update by tapping the Settings menu.
