Samsung is expected to announce the official release date of the flagship Galaxy S8 series smartphone on February 27. In a statement released to the press, Koh Dong-jin, president of mobile communications at Samsung disclosed that the official launch roadmap schedule will be announced at the Mobile World Congress 2017 aka MWC 2017.
Even though Samsung has scheduled a press event on the sidelines of the upcoming MWC 2017 on February 26, the much-awaited Galaxy S8 will not be unveiled during the event. We expect the company to showcase few samples of both Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ during the show. However, the actual launch of the handset will occur on March 29.
Based on rumors, the company will unveil a one-minute video teaser of the handset, which will be available via YouTube. The video will showcase all aspects of the phone, which includes the design and functionality of the device.
