Samsung Galaxy S8

Samsung is expected to announce the official release date of the flagship Galaxy S8 series smartphone on February 27. In a statement released to the press, Koh Dong-jin, president of mobile communications at Samsung disclosed that the official launch roadmap schedule will be announced at the Mobile World Congress 2017 aka MWC 2017.

Even though Samsung has scheduled a press event on the sidelines of the upcoming MWC 2017 on February 26, the much-awaited Galaxy S8 will not be unveiled during the event. We expect the company to showcase few samples of both Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ during the show. However, the actual launch of the handset will occur on March 29.

Based on rumors, the company will unveil a one-minute video teaser of the handset, which will be available via YouTube. The video will showcase all aspects of the phone, which includes the design and functionality of the device.

According to reports, the Galaxy S8 will officially launch in New York on March 29 and will be available for sale on April 21. We have reported several rumors and leaks related to the Galaxy S8. We recently reported that the Galaxy S8 Plus will be named as Galaxy S8+.
