The smartphone manufacturers around the world are gearing up to either showcase or launch new handsets at MWC 2017. It has been confirmed that Motorola, Nokia, Xiaomi, and Samsung have decided to participate and unveil new smartphones.
According to reports, Asus is also planning to unveil few Smartphones at MWC 2017. The move assumes significance with the surfacing of Asus Zenfone 3 Go images and specifications on Italian website notebookitalia.
The site has revealed promotional material of the smartphone, which shows the metallic unibody design of the rumored Zenfone 3 Go. Moreover, the site has disclosed the complete specifications of the phone and also confirms the launch at MWC 2017.
On the specifications front, the Asus Zenfone 3 Go features a 5-inch HD 2.5D curved glass display, Snapdragon 410 processor, 2GB RAM, 16GB internal storage. While the rear camera will be equipped with a 13MP sensor with dual tone LED flash, the front-facing shooter will offer a 5MP sensor with LED flash. The handset will be available in Gold, Rose Gold, and Blue color variants.
Based on the rumors, the phone doesn’t provide support for a fingerprint sensor. However, Asus will most likely bump up the sounding system by integrating dual MEMS Microphones, a five-magnet speaker with smart amp for an enhanced sound system.
Regarding the cost, the forthcoming Asus Zenfone 3 Go will be priced to suit the budget customers. Hence, you can expect a price below Rs. 7999.
The phone will compete with identical budget smartphones manufactured by Intex, Lava, and Micromax. If Asus fixes the price at Rs. 11000, then it would be suitable because the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 is available at a similar price with a 5.5-inch FHD display.
