Sony Xperia XA2 has reportedly passed through the FCC. Dated January 10, 2017, the leaked FCC document reveals the placement of the FCC ID on a hidden label. With FCC ID PY7-84773W, the right side of the image reveals the front side of the device. We infer that the leaked document should be that of the user manual.
The document mentions that the rumored device is handheld. Moreover, the quick start manual will have information as to where to find the FCC ID. The leaker paper also states that the FCC ID is not removable and doesn’t require any special tools to access it.
If the leaked document is indeed Xperia XA2 or XA (2017), you can expect the release of the handset at MWC 2017. The images of the rumored Sony were leaked via KKJ.CN. You will be able to view the navigation controls on the front with backlit. Moreover, the phone is loaded with Android Nougat.
The rear side of the leaked image showcases the camera sensor alongside LED Flash and a warning sticker. The image has been captured with fingers covered. We expect that there will be some secret stuff inside the finger, which should be a fingerprint sensor.
On the side, you will find slots for inserting SIM card slots. You will also visualize how thin the handset is.
Under the hood, the Sony Xperia XA2 will feature a MediaTek Helio P20 processor, 4GB RAM in addition to a USB Type-C port and a traditional headphone port. The phone will be loaded with Android 7.0 Nougat.
While the rear camera will be equipped with a 23MP sensor coupled with f/2.0 aperture, the front-facing shooter will ship with a 16MP sensor paired with a f/2.2 sensor. Based on rumors, the Sony Xperia XA2 is expected to cost CNY 2200, which equates to $320.
