If the rumors are to be believed, the forthcoming Xiaomi Mi 6 is expected to ship with both Full HD and QHD display variants. A user tagged with the name Reviewer took to the popular microblogging website Weibo and shared the information about the imminent arrival of Mi 6 along with the specifications.
If the information provided on the poster are true, the Mi 6 will be available in 4GB RAM, 32GB internal storage alongside a Full HD display panel. The post also signals the arrival of a 4GB RAM variant with 64GB internal storage coupled with a QHD display. Moreover, the handset will be equipped with a ceramic body paired with front-facing snapper.
On the optics front, the Mi 6 will feature Sony IMX386 sensor on the front alongside 12MP autofocus camera. When it comes to the front, it will carry a Sony IMX268 sensor alongside 8MP autofocus camera. Xiaomi will release Mi 6 in various categories such as Standard, Prime and Pro editions respectively.
Even though the launch of Mi 6 was planned on February 6, the event was postponed for April since the company is planning to infuse Snapdragon 835 processor. Since it will take few months for the company to receive the new chip from the supply chain, the launch was postponed to April. However, you can expect an announcement at MWC 2017.
