MGCOOL has launched a brand new action camera with 4K support named MGCOOL Explorer via Gearbest in Black and Silver color variants. According to the company sources, the new Explorer camera will have a capability to “Explore a different world”.

After months of testing, MGCOOL finally unveils 4K action camera, and it is going on pre-sale to the public on Gearbest now. You can place an order for the camera now, but it will be shipped out only after March 8, 2017.

MGCOOL Explorer has been designed in a tiny and lightweight manner. It can be mounted anywhere irrespective of the location. The highlight of the action camera is the integration of a 170-degree fish-eye wide lens coupled with robust waterproof casing.

MGCOOL Explorer features an ability to capture 4K videos at 15 fps (or 2K and 1,080p videos at 30 fps and 60fps, respectively), and shoot 16MP RAW and 170-degree wide-angle images. It also comes with creature comforts, such as a 2-inch display, and built-in wifi for mobile phone control.

On the specifications front, the MGCOOL Explorer features a 2-inch display, Allwinner V3 chipset, 1/3.2 inch IMX 179 CMOS sensor, 170-degree wide angle, Wi-Fi up to 10m distance, Waterproof housing case with up to 30m resistance. The Explorer action camera ships with a removable 1050mAh rechargeable battery with support for 80 minutes backup time.
