Archos 55 Graphite

Archos 55 Graphite and 50 Graphite launched ahead of MWC 2017

Archos has announced the launch of two new budget-friendly Android smartphones named 55 Graphite and 50 Graphite starting at EUR 130. The launch comes as a surprise for tech enthusiasts since the company was planning to unveil the handsets at MWC 2017. Even though Archos has launched the new handsets, it is widely expected that the new handsets will be showcased at the MWC 2017. The new handsets are expected to be available from June 2017.

On the specifications front, the Archos 55 Graphite features a 5.5-inch FHD IPS 2.5D curved glass display, MediaTek MT6737 processor, 2GB RAM, 16GB expandable internal storage. While the rear camera is equipped with a dual 13MP and 2MP sensors, the front-facing snapper bears a 5MP sensor with support for FHD video recording.

With support for dual-SIM, the Archos 55 Graphite is powered by a 3000mAh battery. The phone has loaded with stock Android 7.0 Nougat, which is disappointing since the upgrade process to Android Oreo will be difficult.

Regarding Archos 50 Graphite, the handset is equipped with a 5-inch HD IPS 2.5D curved glass display, Mediatek MT6737 processor, Mali-T720MP2 graphics, 1GB RAM and 16GB expandable internal storage. The rear camera is equipped with a dual 13MP and 2MP sensors with LED flash, while the front-facing snapper is integrated with a 5MP sensor. Powered by a 2400mAh battery, the Archos 50 Graphite also features a fingerprint scanner on the rear.

It’s now time for us to wait for the MWC 2017. Stay tuned with NetAns.
