The LG G6 is equipped with a 5.7-inch QHD (1440×2880 pixels) display with an unbelievable aspect ratio of 18:9 paired with a pixel density of 564PPI. Previously, it was rumored that the LG G6 would ship with Snapdragon 835 processor. However, the latest reports signal the fact that the phone will offer a Snapdragon 821 processor. The main reason for the change is attributed to the fact that Samsung has obtained the exclusive rights of the Snapdragon 835 processor for the Galaxy S8 smartphone.
On the camera front, the LG G6 will ship with a Leica branded 13MP rear dual-camera sensor with a 125-degree wide-angle view. The handset will offer a 3200mAh battery and will be available in White, Black, and Platinum color variants. The main attraction of the LG G6 is the possible integration with Google Assistant. If the rumor turns out to be true, the LG G6 will be the second device after Google Pixel to ship with the voice assistant.
The launch event is jus 2 hours away, but the price factor is an important one. You can expect LG G6 to be available between $500 to $600. It is almost confirmed that the company will make an announcement regarding the phone today. However, we don’t have any information about the release date and is likely to hit the US and Europe.
