Huawei’s P10 and P10 Plus will be preloaded with Quick mobile video editing app developed by GoPro. In a statement released to the press, the action camera company based in San Mateo, California, United States revealed that the Quick app would ship with all Huawei smartphones, which runs on EMUI 5.1 OS.
Launched in 2016, the Quik video editing app was downloaded by over 12 million people. Interestingly, the app will be made default in the P10 and P10 Plus handsets shipped to all markets.

Commenting on the development, Nick Woodman, GoPro founder, and CEO disclosed that the Quick app transforms your smartphone photos and videos into amazing edits with the press of a button. The company is excited to establish a partnership with Huawei to bring GoPro’s Quik app to Huawei P10 and Huawei P10 Plus devices. He added that it provides users with the ability to share compelling stories on the go.
The purpose of the Quik app is to fetch images and videos from the Gallery and create videos with a preselected music for the user. You will be able to find the new app inside Highlights section within EMUI 5.1. The video will be automatically created by the app. However, you will be able to customize the final output with filters, transitions, and effects.
In addition to the Quik app, Huawei P10 and Huawei P10 Plus ships with Leica-branded dual cameras at the back alongside a fingerprint sensor. With eight color options, you will be able to locate the gesture-supported fingerprint scanner below the glass.
