MWC 2017: Sony Xperia XZ Premium, Xperia XZs, Xperia XA1, and Xperia XA1 Ultra smartphones launched

Sony has launched Xperia XZ Premium, Xperia XZs, Xperia XA1, and Xperia XA1 Ultra smartphones at the MWC 2017 in Barcelona. The Sony Xperia XZ Premium, Xperia XZs handsets are capable of delivering of capturing slow-motion footage at four times speed than the possible competitors.

On the specifications front, the Sony Xperia XZ Premium is equipped with a 5.5-inch Triluminos HDR 4K display, Snapdragon 835 processor, Adreno 540 graphics, 4GB RAM coupled with 64GB internal storage. While the rear camera features a 19MP sensor, the front-facing shooter offers a 13MP sensor. Powered by a 3200mAh battery, the phone is loaded with Android 7.0 Nougat. The phone is available in Luminous Chrome and Deepsea Black color options.

Talking about Sony Xperia XZ, the phone ships with a 5.2-inch FHD display, Snapdragon 820 processor, Adreno 510 graphics, 4GB RAM, 32/64GB storage, 19MP rear camera, 13MP front-facing shooter alongside a 2900mAh battery. Loaded with Android Nougat, the phone will be available in Ice Blue, Warm Silver, and Black color options.

If you look at the Sony Xperia XA1 Ultra, the phone flaunts a 6-inch FHD display, Helio P20 processor, 4GB RAM, 32GB/64GB storage, 23MP rear camera, 16MP front-facing snapper with a 2700mAh battery. However, the Sony Xperia XA1 ships with a 5-inch HD display, Helio P20 processor, 3GB RAM, 32GB storage, 23MP rear camera, 8MP selfie camera powered by a 2300mAh battery.

he advantage of all the newly announced Sony smartphones is the addition of Android Nougat. We expect the price of the phone to vary depending upon the market. However, Sony hasn’t revealed the cost of the new handsets at the MWC 2017. We expect the company to conduct a launch event and reveal the price.
