Google has announced the launch of YouTube TV with support for 40 live channels for $25 per month. As part of the offering, YouTube TV provides live streaming from ABC, CBS, FOX, NBC, ESPN including local channels and several popular cable networks.
Along with YouTube TV, you will also get access to a cloud-based DVR system. Hence, you need not have to worry about insufficient storage space at any point in time. YouTube TV also includes YouTube Read, which enables you to watch exclusive content. Moreover, you will be able to browse YouTube without any advertisements.
Capable of working on both Android and iOS, YouTube TV ships with 6 accounts for $35 per month. You will be able to customize each account based on unique recommendations. You need not have to worry about any limits. However, you can watch up to three DVR streams at a time.
We expect Google to remove the drawback in the upcoming future. The service has been launched in the US but the search engine giant will unveil it in other parts of the world.
A big advantage of YouTube TV is that the service works perfectly on all devices. You will be able to watch the programs on mobile, tablet, computer or laptop. You can also stream to your TV using Google Chromecast or any other streaming application.
If the YouTube TV is not available in your region, you can provide your email and Zip code. The company will automatically notify you if the service becomes available in your locality.
Please share your opinion about the introduction of YouTube TV? Will it be a replacement to the services provided by your existing cable company?
