Apple will reportedly ditch Lightning port in the upcoming iPhone 8 and will replace with USB Type-C port. According to reports, the alleged iPhone 8 will not ship with a lightning port. If rumors are to be believed, you can expect a smartphone similar to that of the LeEco Le 2, which also ships with the same port for both charging and audio.

We also have credible information that the iPhone 8 will not bear a physical home button. On the display front, you can expect integration of an OLED display. Based on reports, the Cupertino-based company had already placed orders with supply chain companies for the mass production of the iPhone 8.
