Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 Rumor Roundup: Features, Specifications and Release Date

Xiaomi Mi Mix 2

Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 is expected to feature Super AMOLED display instead of IPS alongside a 93 percent screen to body ratio. Expected to unveil in Q3 2017, the upcoming Mi Mix 2 will be equipped with rounded corners coupled with the ceramic body and piezoelectric ceramic acoustic technology.

Meanwhile, Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun recently confirmed that Phillipe Starck had been again given the job of designing the handset. To recall, Starck had designed the original Mi Mix launched in October 2016. Hence, we can expect something awesome in the upcoming release with premium specifications.

Based on the initial leaks, the bottom edge of the forthcoming Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 will be smaller than the previous counterpart. Even though the SAMOLED display will be a significant upgrade, the service and replacement cost will be expensive and unaffordable. Imaging, your smartphone display develops a crack. You need to spend almost 80 percent of the cost of the phone to replace the display panel. To prevent damages to the display, we expect the company to integrate Corning Gorilla Glass protection.
