Samsung has rolled out a new security update for the Galaxy C7 Pro smartphone. With build number C7000ZHU2AQB1, the latest update contains Android bug fixes for the month of February. Moreover, the update also provides new features including fixing of stability and performance related issues. The update also features few bug fixes for all the bugs reported by the users and developers.
Previously, there were rumors about the fact hat the Galaxy C7 Pro will be available outside China. We spotted a support page for the rumored handset on the official website of Samsung Hong Kong. Even though there is no accurate information about the expected launch date, the very presence of the support page is an indication of the imminent arrival of the handset.
On the specifications front, the Samsung Galaxy C7 Pro features a 5.7-inch FHD Super AMOLED display, Snapdragon 626 processor, 4GB RAM, 32GB/64GB expandable internal storage, 16MP rear camera, 16MP selfie snapper, 3300mAh battery loaded with Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow.
We wonder why Samsung has introduced the February security update in March. We infer that the product team did last minuted modifications before rolling out the update via OTA. That said, you will view a message notification when the update is available. If you are unable to see the message, you can manually verify the presence of the update by tapping the Settings icon.
