Vivo has rolled out a new update for the premium Vivo Xplay6 smartphone. With software version 1.19.2, the highlight of the feature is the ability to provide support for 8X digital zoom. Moreover, the update also includes improvements and bug fixes related to Android security.
The addition of the 8X digital zoom in Vivo Xplay 6 update will improve the quality of the images of not only the dual 12MP and 5MP rear camera but also 16MP front-facing snapper. You will also find fixes to few bugs.
Vivo has pushed the update via OTA. Hence, it will take few days for the notification to appear on your screen. If your phone is eligible, you will receive the notification depending upon the market. If you are not willing to wait, you can manually check for the existence of the update by tapping Settings menu.
In terms of specifications, the Vivo Xplay 6 features a 5.46-inch Super AMOLED QHD curved display, Snapdragon 820 processor, Adreno 530 graphics, 6GB RAM, 128GB internal storage, dual 12MP and 5MP rear camera sensor, 16MP front-facing snapper, 4080mAh battery loaded with Android 6.0 Marshmallow. You can also expect Android Nougat update for the smartphone within the next few days.
