Just a few days after the MWC 2017 concluded in Barcelona, rumors are coming out of the mills about the possible handsets expected to launch at MWC 2018. If rumors are to be believed, Huawei P11 is expected to launch at the event with enhanced specifications including the addition of an improved Snapdragon processor.
At the MWC 2017, Huawei launched flagship smartphone, which is a deviation when compared to previous counterparts. Previously, the company used to launch premium handsets separately in April.
Since the company had launched the P10 this year at the MWC, we can also expect the same product during the upcoming event in 2018. Hence, you can expect the availability of Huawei P11 at Mobile World Congress 2018. It’s too early to speculate on the alleged handset but we expect integration of Snapdragon 9** processor. Moreover, you can expect the launch of Huawei P11 on Sunday, one day before the scheduled start of the event if the company decides to go the 2017 route.
According to Bruce Lee, Huawei’s Vice President of Handsets, the decision to unveil flagship smartphone at MWC has been taken to enable the new products to be available in stores in Europe before Easter in April 2017. If Huawei launches the P11 handset at MWC 2017, you can expect the phone to be made available on the retail shelves before the end of April 2018.
Industry analysts are of the opinion that the launch of new smartphone at a mega event like MWC will surely attract customers since there will be huge buzz among people who are attending. With 60 percent of attendees being tech bloggers and YouTube creators, the company will be able to socialize the new handsets easily among the masses.
