Samsung Galaxy A3 (2016) loaded with Android Nougat has surfaced on Geekbench. Previously, it was reported that the company is gearing up to roll out the Android Nougat update for the Galaxy A (2016) series.
According to the Geekbench listing, a smartphone with model number SM-A310F has been loaded with Android 7.1.1 with around 1.5GB RAM. The listing states that the handset comes with 1370MB of RAM. While the multi-core score pegged a value of 3132, the single-core score resulted in a value of 615.
If the listing is to be believed, Samsung will release Android 7.1.1 instead of Android 7.0. We have reports that Google is already developing Android 7.2 version with new features and improvements. If your smartphone gets the latest Android 7.1.1, then you will be able to take advantage of several features including bug fixes. Recently, Samsung rolled out Nougat update for the Samsung Galaxy S6 and the S6 Edge for users based in Europe.
Going forward, Samsung is planning to introduce Android Nougat update for all the Galaxy A variants of 2016 that includes A3, A8, A5 and the A7. However, we don’t have any official confirmation about when the company will push the update.
