Huawei is gearing up to launch Honor V9 as the Honor 8 Pro in Europe. The company has mailed media invites for the launch event expected to held on April 5. Even though Huawei has not mentioned about Europe, the rumor suggests that the phone will launch in the continent.
Honor hasn’t yet released a premium handset, and the imminent arrival of Honor V9 in Europe is indeed an exception. On the specifications front, the upcoming Honor 8 Pro will feature a 5.7-inch QHD display, Kirin 960 processor, 6GB RAM loaded with Android Nougat. Regarding the storage, you can expect either 64GB or 128GB expandable internal storage models with a display resolution more or less equal to Huawei Mate 9.
The rear camera will be equipped with a dual 12MP+12MP camera alongside f/2.2 aperture. You should note that one camera sensor on the rear is monochrome. Moreover, the camera will also provide support for laser autofocus, LED Flash including the ability to capture 4K videos. There is no reference about Leica branding, but still, the offering is good.
Regarding pricing, we don’t have any information about the exact pricing of the handset. The Honor V9 is available at CNY 2999 for 64GB internal storage variant. You will ned to shell out CNY 3499 for 128GB model.
