LG G6 creates record with 20000 units selling out like hot cakes in Korea

At the recently concluded MWC 2017, the flagship LG G6 smartphone was unveiled. Unlike the previous counterpart, the handset does not feature a modular mechanism since it was a failure. The smartphone was made available in South Korea on March 10.

The interesting highlight is that the company managed to sell 20000 units of LG G6 on the launch day in South Korea, which is the home country. Interestingly, the company got 40000 pre-orders for the G6 in Korea.

If LG sold 20000 LG G6 on the first day, then image the real situation in the upcoming days. We expect a huge sale with the likely possibility of suspending due to non-availability of stocks. To recall, the company sold 15000 units of LG G5 on the first day of the launch in 2016.

LG is gearing up to launch the premium G6 handset in Israel on March 22 followed by Australia on March 28. If you are in the UK, you can pre-order LG G6. We expect a launch event in India within the next two months. Stay tuned with NetAns.
