ZTE has rolled out the first software update for the Blade V8 Pro smartphone running Android 6.01.1 Marshmallow. In addition to the January Android security patch, the latest update also provides bug fixes to several core issues. Released nearly one month back, the most recent update is the first major refresh.
ZTE has fixed an issue involved with the music app closure. Before the update, the app closed forcibly after 15 minutes. This issue has been fixed. Moreover, the latest update also solves the time sync issue found in widgets. Furthermore, the update includes several key optimizations involved with the UI including improvements to languages, performance, and other related issues.
Like all another update, the latest batch is also rolled out via OTA. Hence, it will take few days for the update to hit your handsets. You should make sure either to fully charge the phone or connect the charger to the AC power. Moreover, you should download and install the update via Wi-Fi due to the size of the update.
On the specifications front, the ZTE Blade V8 Pro features a 5.5-inch FHD 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass 3 display, Snapdragon 625 processor, Adreno 506 graphics, 3GB RAM, 32GB expandable internal storage loaded with Android M. While the rear camera is equipped with a dual 13MP sensor with dual flash, the front-facing snapper bears an 8MP sensor. A 3140mAh battery with fash charging support delivers adequate power for the device.
