Sony Xperia XA1 Ultra Clears US FCC

Sony Xperia XA1 Ultra smartphone has cleared the US FCC with the label number PY7-19719M. At te recently concluded MWC 2017 in Barcelona, Sony has announced the specifications of the Xperia XA1 Ultra. With the phone clearing the offices of the US FCC, you can expect an imminent arrival of the device in the US followed by other markets across the world.

Upon inspection of the one-page document surfaced via FCC, the Sony handset bears a label number PY7-19719M, which is supposed to be the main FCC ID. It displays the front portion of the phone with the ID appearing on the probable SIM ejection slot.

The PDF document released by the US FCC states that the labeling meets the conditions allowed in KDB784748 since it is a primary requirement that the label should be placed in an accessible area. Moreover, the device is handheld with the reference that the quick start manual directs the customer the steps required to locate the FCC label.

You cannot remove the label and need not carry any special tools to access the ID. The document clearly specifies the fact that it is the ultimate responsibility of the customer to make sure that they have purchased a correct version.

Touted as a successor to the Xperia XA Ultra, the forthcoming Sony Xperia XA1 Ultra is designed and manufactured to suit the requirements of photo enthusiasts with the addition of a 16MP front-facing snapper.

While the rear camera is equipped with a 23MP rear camera, the front-side is integrated with a 16MP sensor.
