Sony has started to roll out March security update for the Xperia X, X Compact, X Performance, and XZ smartphones. Hence, if you have access to any of these smartphones, you will be eligible to receive the required update.
The build number 39.2.A.0.442 is tagged for the Sony Xperia XZ and Sony X Performance phones. If you have Sony Xperia X and Xperia X Compact phones, you will receive the bits with 34.2.A.0.333 as the build number. If you install the update, your smartphone will be updated with March security patch.
As of writing this, the update only provided March security related fixes and will not ship with any features and improvements. Like all other OTA updates, Sony will roll out the update in a phased manner. Hence, it will take some time for the update to hit your handsets.
If the update is available for your phone, you will view the required message notification. Alternatively, you can verify the existence of the update anytime by tapping the Setting icon.
