Asus has rolled out a new update for the flagship Zenfone 3 Max smartphone. The latest update introduces optimized camera, touch performance, enhancements and bug fixes. With software version 188.8.131.52, the Asus Zenfone 3 Max update is oriented for the ZC520TL model.
In addition to minor enhancements and bug fixes, the Asus Zenfone 3 Max also provides the optimized performance not only for the camera but also to the touch display. Hence, you can expect smooth performance than before.
Asus also fixed an issue involved with dialing customer service in Italy. Previously, users noticed a bug when they dialed to Italian customer support. After the installation of the update, you will find that the LED notification status has been changed. Moreover, the PLMN ID list has also been updated.
Just like all other updates, the latest update is pushed an OTA in a phased manner. Hence, it will take some time for the update to hit your handset. According to Asus, you will have to wait for nearly one week to receive the update. If you are unable to wait, you can manually verify the existence of the update by tapping System Update option from the About section inside Settings icon.
We also expect the release of Android Nougat update for the Asus Zenfone 3 Max within the next few months. To recall, Asus pushed the Nougat update for the standard Zenfone 3 handset in January.
