Xiaomi is expected to launch Redmi 4A smartphone in New Delhi on March 20. Amazon India has confirmed the exclusive launch of the exclusive handset by posting a teaser on its official website.
It is expected that Manu Jain and Jai Mani will play a key role in the launch and drive sales of new handsets. The upcoming event is the first after Xiaomi Vice President Hugo Barra left the company to join Facebook as the head of Virtual Reality.
The company has already mailed media invites to all journalists, Mi Fans, and bloggers. With the title “Time to get smarter,” the media invite looks simple. It prompts the users to join a press briefing along with the name of the presenters alongside the date. Interestingly, the time of the launch has been masked on the invite we sourced from the web. However, we expect the launch to start at 11.30 AM. Xiaomi has already launched the Redmi 4 series in China in November 2016.
