Nokia 3 WiFi Alliance Certification Hints Imminent Launch

Nokia is gearing up to launch the much-anticipated Nokia 3 within the next few days since the handset has been certified by WiFi Alliance. Soon after the announcement of the Nokia 3 at MWC 2017, the phone passed through the US FCC. With the clearance of the phone by the WiFi Alliance, we can expect the launch of the phone before the end of April.

Based on the available information, the Nokia 3 with model numbers TA-1020, TA-1038 and TA-1028 has got the required clearance certificate from the WiFi Alliance.

In the case of TA-1020, the phone bears a product firmware version of 000C_1_305 with a certification ID WFA71161. The device includes va.72.f0 as the Wi-Fi component version number. The certificate issued by the Wi-Fi Alliance explicitly specifies the product name, which is Nokia 3.

Meanwhile, the Nokia 3 device with model number TA-1038 also includes 000C_1_305 as the firmware version alongside the WiFi component version va.72.f0. With certification ID WFA71163, the Nokia 3 is loaded with Android 7.0 Nougat.

On the specifications front, the Nokia 3 features a 5-inch IPS display, 2GB RAM, Mediatek MT6737 processor, 8MP rear camera, 8MP front-facing snapper loaded with Android 7.0 Nougat. If you verify the specifications, they are not attractive.
