If rumors are to be believed, Oppo R9s in Fresh Green color variant is expected to launch on April 1. To begin with, the Green-colored Oppo R9s will be available in China followed by other emerging countries. If you think the news is an April Fool Joke, you can but tech enthusiasts are of the opinion that the Blue flavored Oppo R9S will hit retail shelves on April 1.
The main reason for the launch of the new color is due to the huge success of the Red variant. As of writing this, the Oppo R9S is available in Black, Rose Gold, Gold, and Red color options.
We don’t have any information about the expected price of the new Green Oppo R9s. Since there is no change in the specifications except the color, we expect the new Oppo R9s will be available for the same cost as the Red color option.
On the specifications front, the Oppo R9s features a 5.5-inch AMOLED FHD Corning Gorilla Glass 5 display, Snapdragon 625 processor, Adreno 506 graphics, 4GB RAM, 64GB expandable (256GB) internal storage loaded with Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow.
While the rear camera is equipped with a 16MP sensor coupled with f/1.7 aperture, the front-facing shooter bears a 16MP sensor alongside f/2.0 aperture. A 3010mAh battery with support for fast charging battery completes the package.
