At the MWC 2017, HMD Global had announced a wide range of Nokia smartphones including Nokia 5. According to reports coming in, the Nokia 5 has surfaced on the Geekbench benchmarking site with model number HMD Global TA-1024. Moreover, the operating platform is listing as Android 7.1.1 Nougat.
Based on the information available on the Geekbench, we can infer that Nokia 5 will feature a Snapdragon 430 processor paired with 2GB RAM. The processor is pegged to run at a clock speed of 1.40GHz with 8 cores.
The phone will ship with a motherboard with model number MSM8937. Even though the phone is expected to ship with 2GB RAM, the Geekbench listing specifies 1831MB.
While the single core score is listed as 681, the multi-core score of the upcoming Nokia 5 is provided as 3299. The processor ID is mentioned as ARM implementer 65 architecture 8 variant. If you compare the multi-core results, it is impressive than competing smartphones such as Nexus 6P, OnePlus 2 and others.
