LG is well known for the release of new flagship smartphones. Moreover, the company will also launch budget handsets. The latest news is that a suspicious LG smartphone with model number M255 has cleared FCC.
Interestingly, we don’t have any specifications about the upcoming handset except a layout of the rumored phone alongside FCC ID. The handset will have an FCC ID, which is ZNFM255. However, the official FCC document doesn’t reveal the IMEI, HW and a serial number of the handset.
On the right-hand side, you can find a layout of the phone with a placeholder for the FCC ID. The Blue colored rectangle type object will accommodate the FCC ID. We expect that this could be the SIM slot.
We can also spot the circle shaped physical home button. We can spot a small circle inside the large one, which indicates the presence of a fingerprint scanner. From the image, we can see that the phone has been placed upside down.
With the passing of the handset through the FCC, we can expect an imminent release of the handset. According to industry analysts, the forthcoming LG M255 smartphone could be likely the 2017 variant of the LG K10 with support for AT&T 4G bands.
From the leaked image, we can infer that phone could be a device with a small display. Hence, the upcoming LG phone should be budget friendly priced below $150. With the rumored release of Android Oreo around the corner, manufacturers are pushing hard to release new budget handsets loaded with Android Nougat.
